Laguna Madre Humane Society – 262 Woody Lane, Port Isabel 956-943-3888. The Laguna Madre Humane Society has over 100 dogs and is in definite need of volunteers as dog walkers. Please call to arrange your time to assist. If you are under 18, a permission slip from a parent is required.

Sea Turtle, Inc. – 6617 Padre Boulevard, South Padre Island, 956-761-4511. Sea Turtle Inc. is dedicated to the education, research and rehabilitation for preservation of Sea Turtles and their environment. Sea Turtle Inc. is growing and looking forward to continuing and expanding their commitment to the environment and its inhabitants through education and participation in conservation efforts worldwide.
